Collection and Drop Off Routine
Welcome to Rainbow Pre School Wallingford, where we provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for your children. We are delighted to have you as part of our community and we look forward to getting to know you and your family. On this page, we will explain our drop off and collection routines.
On Arrival

Please arrive at your agreed time. Do try and walk to Rainbow with your child, but if you have to drive please park in the allocated Rainbow Pre-School parking bays or the disabled bays while dropping your child off.
Do not leave any siblings alone in your car, bring them with you while you drop off your child. Please be aware that you will have to wait outside.
If you wish to leave any pushchairs/bikes/scooters outside by the door then this is at your own risk.

If your child is staying with us for lunch please then please place lunch boxes on the lunch trolley in the main lobby area. The lunch trolley will be there during arrival time and then wheeled inside and into the kitchen once everyone is in.

A member of staff will sign each child in on the register and receive any messages or information you need to share on that day. Your child’s Key Person will be there ready and waiting to welcome them into Rainbow.
If you would like to talk to your child’s Key Person please do. This is then the time to wave goodbye!
Collection

Do not leave any siblings alone in your car, bring them with you while you pick up your child. Please be aware that you will have to wait outside.

Please enter the main Rainbow Entrance lobby and ring the doorbell as this will alert staff so that they know you are here.
Every child is encouraged to use the toilet, wash their hands and collect up all their belongings so they are ready to leave.
03.
If your child joined us for lunch then please collect their lunch box from the trolley in the lobby.
A member of staff will then sign your child out on the register, feed back any news or information about their time with us and say goodbye.
